I have followed this board enough to know that I think this is known as the PDP switch fix. However I have a few questions that need answering.

1) What is the correct nomenclature for this switch? I know everyone calls
it a PDP switch but I thnk there is another technical name for the part.

2) Does it hurt the car or transmission to run the car when this orange up arrow
is flashing? As I was coming in to work this morning on the freeway, it
seemed O.K. driving until I slowed down to 20 mph or so and then it was
jerking all over the place. When I try to accelerate or put it in reverse
it takes a few seconds before it kicks into gear.

3) I think I read once on this board that I can buy the part at AutoZone for
alot cheaper than anywhere else. Any tips on buying the part?
