Subsitute for Volvo brand antifreeze?

Hi,
My wife`s wagon needed a coolant reservoir top-up today so she stopped by the local dealer. Volvo antifreeze runs $30/gal so the service guy just topped it up for free!!!!! Wow, what service!!
Anyway, is there an after market brand that will be just as good?
