tips for mounting V70 spoiler 850 1997

Just got a nice eBay. Any suggestions for installing? oh yeah it has to be painted (black) Should I paint it myself, or ask a local shop? How do the brackets attach to the tailgate? It has screws that mount the brakets to the spoiler. Any pictures or URL's? Is the V70 spoiler (year 2000) a good enough match for the 850? Thanks Very Much
