Clunking V70-XC70

Looking to find out why my 98 XC makes a loud hmmm noise @ speeds btw 30 and 60 mph . It started about 300 miles or less after the drive shaft was replaced , also when I had brought it in I told them I was concerned about a clunking noise that happens when I hit bumps( sound comes from drives side wheel area) they told me that I did'nt need to worry about that yet, however now it is getting much worse. So I'm wondering what the clunking noise actually is
and what's with the hummm post drive shaft replacement. Thanks.
