My upper a.t. line to the radiator is very rusty could I splice and connect a go between? 850

Greetings:

I want to do a drain/flush/refill from my upper cooler line for my transmission. However, it appears that this one connection is very very rusty and may break off or just not come off. I was thinking about creating some sort of go between line, in that I may be able to totally flush out the transmission completely. I have done this for all of my Volvos (740's) whaich has enable my 740's to reach and continue beyond 450,000 original miles! I just purchased this 850 GLT with about 160,000 miles on it. Please all comments and or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
