Volvo speakers - aftermarket S70 1998

So my 98 S70 blew a speaker - of course it had to be the almost-impossible-to-find rear deck shelf speaker. This is an 8", 8 ohm coax. The dealer is quoting $260 for a pair of OEM spkrs. I would like to keep the stock radio in the car but replace the rear speakers.I cant seem to find any 8 ohm impedance speakers in the aftermarket. They are all universally 4 ohms.
Can i add a 4ohm resistor in series to an aftermarket speaker (4 ohm) and consider myself to have pulled a fast one of the dealer? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
