The strangest thing happened this morning. The car alarm went off as I opened the door. Probably my fault. I got inside and started the car. It started but quickly stalled. I noticed the message about alarm triggered. I locked/unlocked via the remote and tried to start the car. No luck. I locked/unlocked several times. Still would not start. So I looked at my gas gauge. It was low, but still 60 miles left according to computer. I thought that this was my problem as I park my car in my driveway which is at a 15-20 degree decline. I thought that the gas left in the car was not able to reach the fuel pump.
I bought two gallons of gas, added it, then started the car. It started too quickly! My thinking is that it would have taken some time (1-5 secs)for the pump to get the gas to the engine.
So, was it the shortage of gas or the activation of the alarm? What do you think?
