98 S70 Front suspension replacement S70 1998

Hello, I'm a 21 year old with a s70 volvo, great trouble free car, but after 112,000 it needs a little love. According to my dad (mechanic), should i replace just the struts and a bushings? Is the balljoint replacable seperately (or do I have to buy the whole A arm assembly for each side)? Also, are the front springs okay to reuse again? I'm on a budget so I want to do the job right, but not replace parts that I don't have to (reuse boots etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated, you've been very informative in the past.
