loosing coolant S70 1998

Hello, I have a 98 s70 turbo and it is loosing coolant where the bottom heater hose atatches to the heater core. Could it be it needs to be tightened or do guys think it is the heater core. I really hope it is not the heater core.
also, I see the bottom heater hose has a threaded fitting that looks like it can be tightened but, i don't see a fitting for the top one.
