Took my 97 850 R to an Indy shop to have the AC checked. The compressor was cycling on and off every ten or fifteen seconds while at idle, but the temp was down to about 38F. No problem finding the low pressure port, the one where you charge the system, but do you think two certified AC mechanics could find the high pressure port so they could check the other side of the system? No way. Took it to a Volvo dealer, and a Volvo mechanic and the service rep came out and gazed down in the engine compartment for five minutes, shaking their heads. They too never located it. Finally one hazarded a guess that maybe it was on the side of the compressor, which they couldn't see looking down from the top. I have to go back to the same Indy shop in a week. Can somebody tell me where it's at so they can hook into it and do a thorough check on my system? Many thanks in advance. Dick
