air conditioning 850 1994

The clutch does not disengage on my air conditioning so the air conditioner works for 10 minutes and then the AC blows hot air. To disengage the clutch, I pulled out the LP wire and it disengaged. When I plugged it back, the LP engaged the clutch but it doesn't disengage like it is supposed to. Is the problem with the LP sensor, or what else could it be.
