Is it bad to have a slow river of transmission fluid leaking out of where one has just removed the axle to replace the cv boots? I didn't think that was supposed to happen...

If it's not okay, then what might I have done?!

If it is okay, then I suppose I just need to top off the tranny fluid after everything's back together?
