P0410 air pump issue 850

1996 850 GLT 115K

Every time I use the AC, which isn't that often, it trips the check engine light, and I get the P0410 code on the reader. I can then reset the code and be problem free for months--until the next time the AC gets used. Is it possible for condensation to form and flood the pump as a result of running the AC? Or maybe the code is erroneous?
