850 'Stall-vo' Anyone ever find out what's going on here??? PLEAse Help!

Okay,
So over the past year or so, I've come across a number of messages relating to the following problem with the 850.
Car runs fine. Shut it off for a short period, (refuel, milk at the corner mart, etc.) then when you go to start it up again it just sputters and dies.
So you give it a couple of minutes and it fires up and runs fine.
IF YOU'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND FOUND THE SOLUTION WOULD YOU LET ME KNOW?
This past weekend after filling up in Kingston, I headed out on Hwy 401 and got about a quarter mile when the car lost all acceleration. I had to pull off the freeway, (thank God I was in the shoulder lane). When the engine finally quit, all indicator lights came on. Well, I waited 2 minutes partly due to my heart rate, and turned the key, waited for a gap in traffic and carried on my way.
I get no codes when scanning the car and have been told it "might be the cam position sensor" relating to heat.
Thanks to anyone who has been through this and takes the time to share info.
Armie
