850 front end and tranny

the front end on my 96 850 wagon is feeling a little lose i know its not the clunking of bad ball joints but it just doesnt feel right. i was wondering if there was some way to make it feel better. my father also made a post about a tranny flush for an XC70 i was wondering if this is a worth while thing to get for my car. i do drive with a heavy foot.
