Speedometer and Door Locks

I have two different problems that I haven't been able to figure out. I have a 98 S70 T5.

One, the speedometer will randomly stop working, and I do not really know why. Turning the car off and on again will get it working again. It might be heat related, because it tends to work longest in the morning. Essentially, the speedometer will work normally, usually as long as the car is still moving. Whenever I stop at a light or if I'm in traffic, however, the speedometer stops working completely. I have no idea was is going on here.

Problem two: whenever it's really hot, two of the doors of the car will not unlock electronically. You can hear the power lock being activated, but it doesn't actually disengage the lock, and you have to pull it up by hand. Again, this only happens when it's hot outside.
