Radio Troubles 850 1996

Anyone ever have issues with their FM Tuner? A few months back my FM Stations started getting static in the background and then just yesterday, they went dead. All that comes across is static and some high pitch squealing sound. Its fun to listen to. Everything else works like normal, the AM tuner, CD player and cassette deck. Seems weird and was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this or would have any ideas why its happening. Seems like the Sirius satillite radio is gonna have to get hooked up sooner then i thought....
