Advice on 855 Turbo purchase 850 1994

I own several rwd volvos, but in looking for a car for my daughter, away at school, I found a 94 855 turbo, 159kmiles for $1200. It looks great in the pictures and the guy drives it to work everyday. It has a few problems
No windshield washer working
Check engine light on
SRS light on
He claims the car runs fine. I still have yet to drive it.
I know of the AC evaporator problem, but none of my other car's AC work either.

Awfully cheap, I know, but who knows, I got my 91 245SE for $550 2 years ago. A new flywheel sensor and OD solenoid and it was fine.

Anyway, any ideas on the SRS light? Can I check codes like the RWD cars? Or does it require a tester of some type?

Tried a search (on SRS)but I can't get this dagnab site to just do a 850 only search!
