I have a S70 with some blow by around the turbo (not oil return line) and suspect the PVC system that connects to the hose coming down from the MAF. BTW, the car runs great with decent mileage....but, I'd really like to know how to get in the tight place right into the side of the turbo to take these (smaller) lines off and then see if they're clogged. How do you do that?....you can't get your head down there to blow through them. It's either this or I will need to get the entire PVC kit from fcp and replace the oil trap under the intake manifold as well...really want to leave that as a last resort...and I don't like just throwing parts at a problem...or at least a perceived problem here. Someone on another board said the oil covered side of the turbo is normal (at least it's the cool side), but I'm not buying that. I know that oil on anything is not normal and I want to keep issues from creeping up even if this issue is nothing major. Any help offered here will be greatly appreciated.
This weekend, I dealt with the charge air hoses thinking that might be the issue, but it appears completely unrelated, but glad these are clean and one bad elbow hose replaced.
