My dad is feeling some vibration in the steering wheel when he is driving, and he put me to work to figure out what the cause was. After having the car on a lift at my friend's shop, I was able to rule out the engine mounts. I recently purchased an engine stabilizer mount(from IPD), and purchased the upper engine mount(#8631159) from Volvo. My question is this: Should I go ahead and purchase the upper engine torque arm(#3524345) and upper rear engine torque rod(#9445853)? Before I continue, I should state that there is absolutely no rocking in this particular area, but I was still of two minds if I should go ahead and replace the torque arm and rod regardless. And the next question is should I replace the front right subframe mount? Or should I replace the two in back as well? I am sorry if I left out pertinent information. I would be more than happy to elucidate as to what the issues are, I just wanted to start(somewhere), and see in which direction this would go.
