question about fuel tank recall 850

Yesterday my 850 fuel tank developed a fuel leak, at what appears to be the heat shield attachment. I took it in to the local Volvo dealer, and the service worker was almost 100% certain that it would be covered by the recall. Is there any reason that this wouldn't be covered by the recall, and that I would be charged for this service? Thanks in advance.
