Motor (Engine) Mounts V70-XC70 1998

I replaced the right (passenger) (front) motor mount last weekend. The rubber was split which allowed it to move left and right an inch or more. Should the left (rear) motor mount also be replace it the other was that bad? Is it any harder than the front mount to replace?
