IPD lowering springs

Hi,
Has anyone used IPD lowering springs in an 850R wagon? Would anyone recommend these over overload springs or stock springs for the rear? Does anyone know how the ride height compares between stock 'R' springs, stock non-R springs, and lowered ones?
