timing belt replacement S40-V40 2000

First time user! 30th trip to dealer in 42 months! I've got another nightmare,
Blown head gasket. Removed both cams during replacement, I had no special alignment tool.
3 Dealers say that they can't align the cams with there special tool.
50/50 chance the valves will be bent from their work. Can't guarantee it.
Why with their tools?

I'm thinking large FLOWER POT!

    Any experienced Volvo dealer tech, experienced with Volvo engine work will have the proper tools at that dealership (required by Volvo for ALL dealers to have) AND also be able to correctly re-assemble the engine. If you've already got bent valves for some reason, they'll need to be replaced. If someone on the phone is telling you otherwise, that person is full of it.
    Note, try asking a dealer tech at any dealer as there are often people who answer phone calls at dealerships who have no clue as to what goes on there (unfortunately).
    They won't tell you how to fix your car or what tools you'll need but if there car is towed there, they will be able to fix it.

      That shop's incompitent, careless, or both. Make them buy you a new engine since they couldn't do a simple job correctly.

      Then never go back to them. 30 visits in 42 months is a LOT of screw-ups.

      Thanks Dave. VOLVO just got off the phone. They aligned the cams and with new timing belt.
      They tried to start it and it blew oil all over their floor.
      No compression.

      I'm planting lemons next season!
