will his software reset the check engine light? The one that goes on based on milege and not because of a MIL. IF so what is the procedure? I have his software but have not mastered it. thanks in advance

Yep, Peper's software will reset the service light on 96-97 850's Quit any diagnostics that are running and click on the "status" tab. With status open, click on "enhanced". You should get a dialogue box that says something like "96-97 Service light only" or something like that. Just click "clear" That's it

Hi Jack,

I've tried your way but the dialogue box says: FORD ENGINE CONTROL in instead of
96-97 Service light only. What is the problem?
