Check Engine Light V70-XC70 1999

1999 V70 AWD I recently replaced a front O2 sensor, Spark Plugs, Serpentine belt. Timing belt and tensioner. The check engine light came on after the work was completed. Checked for fault codes with an obdII reader. The reader advises that everything passes. No codes. Reset the light but it keeps reappearing. Any ideas?

Check engine can also be triggered by auto trans and ABS problems without necessarilly having a light for those systems.

Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes (make sure you know the radio code) and see if this clears the codes. The computer, being used to the old set-up...worn parts may not know how to read the new ones and has to adjust. This will help it adjust.

    Good luck,
    MIJ
