Fuel filter change S70 1999

Hello-

Is there any particular mileage at which the fuel filter on S70s has to be changed? I have a '99 (base model) and my shop is telling me that it needs to be replaced soon. This is a car with 64k miles on it- so do you think it's time to replace that filter?

If you still have the original filter, its deffinitely time for a change. I do mine every 30k miles. Which might seem silly to some but im pretty much obsessed with preventative maintenance. Its very easy to change & inexpensive. FCP sells the BOSCH filters for @ $19. If the filter on your car has masking tape around the connections, its the original one. Heres a link that details the process.
