Passengers side airbag cover 850

I have replaced my airbags, unfortunately the passengers side bag did not come with a cover. I have found it impossible to acquire a replacement cover...does anyone have any better suggestions?
Thanks.

If I were you I would call fcpgroton. You might have to buy the airbag all over again with the panel attached. I wouldn't mess with making something yourself. We're talking about an airbag here that has a specific design and which could save your life (or your passenger's) one day. Their number is 877-634-0063. In my opinion Groton is cheaper, faster and the best....usually get my orders from them in a couple of days.

    Hi Tom,

This is most likley a dealer item, but try www.erievov.com your luckey that is the only part of the dash that is a problem. I need a whole new dash and glove box and cannot find anyone that has the complete dash.

    hope this helps

Thanks a lot Scott...unfortunately the cover is not part of the dash, it is actually attached to the airbag! What a pain in the you know what...and no one, and I mean NO ONE across the US will sell me just the airbag cover! I know one person got one at some point or another though, because its the one im missing! Oo well, i guess ill just keep on searching...i think my best bet would be to search for some dash board material somewhere, and just make one myself. best of luck with your search, have you checked ebay? I see dashes floating around every now and then.

          Hi Tom,

I feel your pain, along with my dash problem I also have the problem with the air bag cover on the passinger side, I do have the cover, but it is peeled up and just flops around, I've tried to glue in down but that doesn't last, however I've only tried supper glue. On the only 850 I found in the bone yard that still had a dash, it did have the cover for the air bag although it has the same problem as mine. it is tan in color, if you would be intrested in it the number of the bone yard is 800-407-6440 and 972-286-9999. If they will not pull the part and send it to you. I will be happy to go and pull it, and send it to you, if he still has it and you are intrested. let me know!

          best of luck

          Scott C

The passenger side airbag cover is NOT part of the bag. It is part of the upper dash cover. At one point, the cover could be hade seperately from Volvo, for a fraction of the cost of the dash pad. It was part of a repair kit to fix curling corners. Check with your dealer. There was a TSB with part #s and instructions.
