P0455 code???

My sons '98 V70AWD has a continual problem with the check engine light. I took the advice of this board, and purchased an Actron OBDII Scanner. Good idea, its a cool tool.
Anyway, the code seems to come up as P0455, Evap. Emission control system leak (large)
I have replaced the gas cap, but to no avail. Any suggestions where else to look??

    Make sure the filler neck seat (where the gas cap seals) is not dinged.
    Check all the vacuum hoses from the gas tank to the EVAP purge valve and to the canister.
    Make sure the EVAP purge valve is not leaking, this is most likely the cause.
