Dam dog chewed my seat?!?!?!? V70-XC70

OK....planned to leave the dog in my car for 5 minutes but it turned out to be 15 minutes and he chewed off the entire upper part of the rear seat and the 2 front head rests.....I guess he was a "little upset" :( . Is it possible to buy a new cover and foam or do I need a trip to the upholstery shop (or a psychiatrist---dam dog!)

    Most salvage yards adjust their prices to fit supply and demand. You might get a decent price on a back seat and headrests as there is not much demand for them.

    I needed front seats for my PV544 and got 850 seats for $100 each. They were practically willing to give me the back seat. They wanted twice as much for 740 seats.

    My question is - how likely is the dog to do it again? Did he like what he did, and does he now think that eating the seats brought you back?

    Try ebay, people sell seat skins on ebay because they ship better than seats.

      I'm sick of the dam dog and told my wife its either the dog or me.....she didn't answer!!!!! Why do you think my handle is "dog crapper".....because that's all I end up picking up in the yard.....wife doesn't do a D$# thing except luv it to death! I am starting to like the "skin it" idea!

    I just bought a driver's seat bottom through my dealer, and believe me, if it's leather, you're talking about quite a few $$$$$!

    If it's ANYTHING but the driver's seat (they're ALL worn out!) I'd buy a set of used seats.

    Depending on the size of the dog, you may be able to use his hide to recover all the damaged areas.
    Otherwise, you'll have to go to your dealer and order new seat and headrest covers. Plan to shell out a few hundred at least.
