99 S80 FWD Power Steering Intermittant S80 1999

The power steering on my 99 S80 FWD is intermittent. I know that the powersteering is set up to lessen at higher speeds for better handling and steering control, but when decelerating to lower speeds, sometimes it doesn't seem to come back on until the car is turned of and restarted.

Is this the power steering pump on the way out, a speed sensor that is messed up? There are no messages through the computer...

    I have the same problem with my S80. The dealer has replaced the power steering rack, power steering pump, and power steering fluid reservoir (all on my nickel). The car still loses power steering assist. Colossal POS.
