My antenna is sticking in half up position, is there a good fix or a deal on parts? I can hear the motor trying to operate the antenna mast Thanx P

While we're on the subject: does anyone have the part number for the black antenna switch and the harness to go with it. I know there's a kit but that comes with the grey switch, I'd like to get the black switch if i can help it.

Before you replace the antenna, I found that the o-ring in the antenna guide mounted on the fender gets totally contaminated with gunk and worn causing friction. Solution--get a new guide from your dealer (about $7 I recall)and see if that helps your antenna problem. It did for mine.

its a quick swap if you purchase a replacement mast, maybe 10mins max. This of course assumes the motor is good and there is nothing stuck in it. Easy to do, and I can give u instructions (or Bay 13 I think too) has something.
