starting question 850

my 850 takes a long time to turn over, longer in the morning then later on in the day. It has been doing that for a while now, it may take 10-15 seconds of holding the key all the way clockwise before it turns over, I have not had this car for a long time. Is this normal with a 850?

thanks

I think not. I assume you mean the starter runs for a long time - not that the starter runs very slowly. That is, I assume the battery and connections are ok so the starter is getting power. To see what is wrong, give some more detail. Are there any trouble codes (check engine light on)? How well does the car run once started? What is your fuel consumption? Are there any odd symptoms during driving?

I am assuming the car is running fine, this is the first Turbo car I owned. it is a little slower when the AC is running (and it has been running a lot latley) I average about 22 MPG, Is this normal for a T5 Wagon? I have not checked the battery and connections.

thanks for the quic responce
