S60 AC Problem S60 2001

When I turn the car off and the AC is on, sometimes the AC fan is running again when I return to the car. After I put the key in the ignition and turn it to accessory, the fan will stop running. It doesn't happen all the time. ANY IDEAS??

    not a problem.

    the aircon blower runs automatically about 1 hour after the engine is shut off. and it runs for about 5 minutes i think. this is a feature of the car so that moisture in the AC will dry up thus inhibiting molds. does this feature exist in other cars also?

      This feature began in the early 90s and is standard on most models since about 96or 97, and is included on ALL US delivered P-2 cars. It can be retrofitted to earlier 850/960/940/740 models.
