Fuel/speedometer/temperature gauge just dead -- please HELP 850 1993

Hi,
I have a 93 850 GLT where the Fuel/temperature/speedometer gauges are dead (dont move from the 0 mark). However the rpm gauge and all the digital displays are working fine. I took the instrumentation panel competely out and did an experiment where I swaped the rpm motor (I dont know if motor name is correct) with the Fuel motor and still the rpm gauge worked fine. I think no voltage is reaching the Fuel/speedometer/temperature motors. Can someone please help guide me in to what to check next ?. BTW I tried to use the computer codes (#2) but the code that came was 1-1-1. Only one time did it come as 2-2-3. I am not sure what other codes should I check for if any. Does somebody know from the wiring
diagram which wire if for the fuel gauge and which one is for the temperature ... etc. I am just throwing ideas hoping that an expert out there can help guide me.Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Hmmm, sounds like it might be the infamous flakey electrical portion of the ignition switch. The ignition switch failure caused the instruments on my '96 850 to go nuts. It was rather counter intuitive, to say the least!

Have a look at:

Does the flasher/turn signal work?
Have you tried switching back slightly right after starting the engine..?
could be the starter switch..

Thanks for the inputs. The trun signals work fine. Even the odometer is working
fine. This car has a brand new starter. All digital signals are working fine plus
the rpm gauge. It is only the Fuel/temperature/speedometer gauges that dont work.
I am mainly worried about the fuel gauge since I dont want to run out of gas all of a sudden. I wonder if the digital low fuel warning will work despite the analog
one not working ? (any body with a comment on this)

My 93 850 is doing the same except the tach does not register correctly and the spedometer barely so. The low fuel and service engine lights are flashing and the outside air temp as well. The turn signals are blowing fuses as well. I installed a new electrical ignition switch but to no avail. I am having it towed to a mech because now it does not start but I'll be damned if when i turned the key to push it out for the tow truck that the flashing stopped. It still did not start however. Any clues?
Thanks

LOAI: I suggest that you take a look at the connections (dismantle the unit once again) it could be just a loose socket. Those gauges don't go bad at the same time..
In archman case.. flashing turn signal, cannot start, outside air temp etc.. could be the immobilizer.. try lock and unlock the car...
But blowing fuse ?? thats serious.

Thanks. I completely took it out but to no avail. I would like to trace the signal
using the voltmeter. Does any one have a wiring diagram for the instrument panel (I found one for the 97 850 but I am not sure it is the same as the 93 850 GLT).
I think the connection is as follows:
ABS unit -> Instrument panel -> ECU
But I need to know what wire runs from A to B ... etc and their color.
