94 turbo rough idle, when shifted into gear 850 1994

checked for vacuum leaks and found none...Car idles fine in park and neutral but when shifted into reverse or forward idle roughens until stall. any thing or where other than vacuum. Thanks for any help/suggestions..Phil

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a blocked breather hose, very easy to clean yourself. May not be your problem but worth looking at.
