Correct PSI on A/C for 94 850 850

Hi, whatis the correct PSI for a 94 850 non turbo. My guage shows 45 lbs but the condensor seems to recylcing too much.

    How to you bleed off the AC if the pressure to high?

    As usual, good hamfisted advice, but I have a back-up-a-minute question:

    just to confirm, are you measuring that 45 pressure with the compressor engaged (ie, not turned off or even cycled off)?

    The low side pressure should be 25-35 psi. At 45 psi you may be bumping up against the high pressure cutout switch on the high side, especially at 2000 rpm or higher.
