Anyone else have overflow tank leaking at the seam? 850 1997

The slight leak seems to be coming from the mid seam, not the cap or hose but I can't tell for sure. Has anyone else see that and replaced the tank?

You talking about the radiator coolant overflow tank ?

If so, don't bother all the research- simply order a new one from FCPGROTON.COM for about $35 and be done with it. These cars are getting old and parts like this will begin to fail.

It's a regular occurrence on certain Fords.

Could be, but these Volvos were built before Ford got into the act. Calling Volvo and the NTHSB.org would be the first move I made.

Torque, I would suggest that you call Volvo North America @ 1-800-458-1552 and provide them with your Vehicle ID number. They should be able to tell you right away if your car is part of the recent recall that Volvo issued for this particular issue. Good luck, Fred.
