850 hood bracket bent 850 1996

I caught a tiedown on the back left corner of the hood (in front of steering wheel) and pulled the rear corner of the hood up about an inch or so. Hood closes ok but corner juts up about an inch. Have thought about replacing bracket because i can see it is bent.
How much trouble is it to replace? Does quarter panel have to come off for this job? Is it a pain to get it all lined up again? It is a ten year old car and I have better things to do with my time and money but the challenge is there and hard to resist.
Any suggestions?
