Wiring in an accessory V70-XC70

Does anyone know where I can tap in an additional accessory outlet under the dash (near the radio)? I was thinking about tapping it into the current outlet near the shifter on the console.
I purchased an XM radio and it came with a cigarette lighter style accessory outlet to hardwire so I don't have to give up the other outlet and have wires hanging everywhere.

For my radar detectors, I just tap into the black and red leads behind the cigar lighter socket using the 3M wire taps that Valentine provides. The cigar lighter circuit is switched on with the ignition.

I've wired 4 of our cars this way. If a circuit can handle a cell phone and a cigar lighter, it can probably handle a radar detector pretty easily.

    Or an XM radio.

I used to screw around with the fuse boxes but this is a whole lot easier.

I have not checked my XC, but you might find additional out circuits located at the fuse box.
