More questions on a 1993 850 850

Thanks to those who have responded to my previous questions... Can anyone tell me if the (automatic transmission) shift indicator should be illuminated? If so, how do I access the bulb(s) there?

What about the rear window and mirror defroster rocker switch? Shouldn't there be a bulb behind that? Or do I have to buy a new switch with the bulb sealed inside it? What about the heated seat rocker switches? Are those supposed to be illuminated? THANK YOU !!!

    Yes. All the above.
Sounds like you, the new owner, have the required amount of bulbs to replace. Don't forget the center console light, cigarette lighter, courtesy lights for each door, and glovebox light among others. See http://volvospeed.com/maintence.htm for tips on bulb replacement.

Bulbs are available online, at your dealer or Radio Shack normally.

A popular tip here: dim the dash lights about 1/2 way, it will make them last a lot longer.
