part time brakes 850 1997

I have a 1997 850 T5 turbo. My problem is that my brake lights work part time. My cruise works and my brakes work but not my lights. Does anyone have an Idea what could be wrong? I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks email bonnie_demott@yahoo.com

Uh.... Brake Light switch? Its on the brake pedal under the dash. You can take it apart and clean it or just replace it with a new one.
