Fluctuating noise from Under the throttle cover in ignition II 850 1995

I noticed this weekend that when I put the key in Position II, there seems to be a pretty loud humming noise coming from under the Throttle body cover..does any know what could be under there that can be causing this noise..The noise seems to fluctuate little bit but never heard it to be humming loud like this..


any help would be appreciated..

    hi,
    it would be the idle speed control valve, this is a type of stepper motor so it will make a degree of noise with the key on.
