96' 850 SRS diagnostic light and momentary loss of RPM 850

When I start my 850 the SRS light remains on for 10 to 15 seconds as opposed to the former 5 seconds. It remains on after the other lights go out. When the SRS light does go out the RPM drops to almost nothing like the engine is about to cut out for a moment then goes back to normal, also sometimes the radio will go out for a moment then come back. This just began about 3 weeks ago. I just went over 180K, The SRS control module is in the center dash/console, I have not opened the dash/console. I have unfortunately spilled a few cups of Joe on the console, could that be setting this SRS problem into motion?? PLEASE give me a clue!!

    It's time to remove the center console and clean up all of the wiring. Especially the, by now rusted, ground wire. This ground could be your problem, and give you an excuse to replace those dumb little bulbs and adjust the handbrake.
