Heates rear seats 850 1994

Well hello.

Things we see. My car has all the wiring and even the fuze for the heated seats. So how hard would it be to hook up the swiches so that I can have the heated seats? Through ebay I have bought new front swiches so now I have 2 spairs.

Cheers,

Wesley H. Burton

Depends if the heating pads are in the seats...otherwise it's just a wiring job.

Ah! well I have wires running from the back and the bottom of each seat. I have to disconnect these to remove the seats. So I assume the heat pads are in place. Do you have detailed dirtections on how to do the wiring or where can I find them. I also bought a newer central concal (from ebay lol) so I also have the wires and connectors the swiches and the fuse so cross my fingers that there is the pads with the wires in the seat. It will be kinda a crap shoot but I assume Volvo as in most other aspects put them in.

I have factory seat heaters in the rear seats of my 1996 850 sedan. The switches mount on either side of the center ash tray. These switches are NOT the same as the seat heater switches from the front seats! The rears turn off automatically after a certain amount of time, so they are functionally more like the defroster switch than the seat heater toggle switches.
