REMOVING ALARM HOOT 850

Hi, in the alarm system of my '94 850 GLT sounds a hoot when I activate and desactivate the alarm (togheter with the falshes of the turn signal lights).

I have heared that is possible to remove the sound.

żAnybody knows the method?

Thanks in advance.

A dealer can set the alarm to hoot/indicate, indicate, or just set

Ok, but I'd like a DIY method.

AFAIK the black box can only be interfaced with professional kit, not a diy thing.

The alarm system has a status panel located on RH "A" post. You can see the type in the image:

It has a function button. I know that by means of this button is possible to enter in a menu where is posible to modify the default options (for example to disable the alarm chirp), pressing the button in a certain sequence.

But I haven't found the manual where is explained the sequences to enter in those menus.
