I discouverd when trying to repair my cruise control that what was usually a relay replacement problem was actually a faulty tube near the battery. The Cruise control is a vacuum system and battery acid burned a hole in the line causing the failure. So before you buy a relay check the line near the battery for leaks or broken completely and repair. This could save you several $$$.

    I recall the same thing happened with our 850 several years ago. Cleaned the battery and used duct tape for a few months before I had time to get a new hose and install it. Installation was a snap.
