Has anyone tried the cat conv w/c is after market/replacement parts? The cat conv in the volvo store that i go to costs about $290 (parts only) while the one by the regular indy muffler shop is $160 installed.
any ideas?

    A cat is a cat is a cat...here in the UK you can get a top quality stainless-housed cat for half the price of a genuine Volvo one.
    The only thing to make sure is that it has the holes for mounting the lambda sensors etc.
    With exhausts, custom built seems to be the way to go.
