Speaker cutting out 850 1994

All the rear speakers (4) in my '94 wagon are cutting in & out. This is not due to the common problem of magnets falling off (I've checked). And they are not buzzing, just on and then off. I've also checked the wiring around the door hinges, which is okay.
Seems like they are not getting a good ground.

Anyone know where the rear speakers wires are grounded???

Why not start with the simple stuff first. Remove the radio, dis-connect the wiring harness, clean contacts with electrical contact cleaner, put back together. If you don't have electrical contact cleaner, just removing the harness and re-seating it will work.....

TonyG, yeah thanks but actually I did do that first. I used contact cleaner on sliders & knobs in front of radio also (sc-810). No effect.

So now I'm asking about where the rear spkrs are grounded.

An easy test is to run a ground from them up to the front (batt), just to see if that is the issue.
