Engine studder 850 1995

My '95 850 turbo has a chip, 3" dp and 2.5" cat back. I usually get 15psi. When I floor it it goes to 15 psi and then drops down to 10psi. The motor seems to studder like it is not building full power. The car seems to run rich, I'm thinking that an oil leak (burning oil maybe) is causing the car to missfire.

The CEL has no missfire codes. I am runnign spark plugs that are one step colder.

Any ideas on what is causing the studder?

If the engine stutters at high rpm, check your plugs. With a chip and 15psi, you need exotic plugs, not the Bosh single pole. Look at IPD.com.\
I have never known of an oil leak causing a misfire. Rich engine will backfire in the exhaust manifold, which means you need a better air cleaner.

Klaus, I am using Autolite copper plugs that are one step colder. I installed them in the summer. I will check to see that my K&N doesn't need to be cleaned again.

Thanks,
Michael S.
